Everyone Heals Differently

Main pehle sochta tha ki healing ka matlab hai kahin pahunchna — ek finished, calm version of myself jo enough effort ke baad mil jayega.

Ye blog wahi jagah hai jahan main ye likhta rahunga — advice ki tarah nahi, bas ek honest record ki tarah ki koi actually koshish kar raha hai.

I used to think healing meant getting somewhere — some finished, calmer version of myself waiting at the end of enough effort. I don't think that anymore.

What I've actually found, on the road and off it, is that healing isn't a destination. It's closer to a practice of turning inward, again and again, and being a little more honest each time about what I find there.

The thing that surprised me most is how little it has to do with anyone else. Not the people I compare myself to, not the version of calm I see online, not even the people trying to help me. Just me, and whatever I'm avoiding hearing from myself that day.

This blog is where I'll keep writing that down — not as advice, just as an honest record of someone actually trying.
